Terms of service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between your business and Tizo POS ("we", "us") for using the Tizo POS billing software in a browser, on Windows, Mac and Linux, and on Android and iPhone (the "service"). By using the service, you agree to them. If you use it for a shop, you confirm that you may agree on the shop's behalf and that you are at least 18.
1. The service
Tizo POS helps shops bill, manage stock, customers, staff and accounts. What your shop can use depends on its plan, as shown in the app under My plan. We keep improving the service and may change, add or retire features; we will not remove a main feature of a paid plan during the period you have paid for.
2. Your account
- Keep passwords and PINs secret, and give each person their own login. You are responsible for what is done with your shop's logins.
- Remove staff logins when people leave. Tell us straight away if you think a login has been misused.
- Make sure the shop details you give us, such as the GST number, are correct.
3. Plans, payments and renewals
- Prices are in Indian rupees and are those agreed with you or shown on our website when you buy. Any taxes that apply are shown on your invoice.
- A plan runs for the period you paid for. The app reminds you before it ends. After it ends, the shop keeps working for a grace period of 7 days. After that the shop becomes view-only (you can log in and see your records, but cannot make new bills) until the plan is renewed.
- The Full plan is a one-time payment plus a monthly fee for hosting, updates and support. If the monthly fee stays unpaid, we may pause the service until it is paid.
- We may change our prices. A new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does.
- Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it or we agree to it in writing.
- Free trials and demo shops are for trying the service. We may end them at any time.
4. Your data
- Your shop's records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
- You are responsible for collecting your customers' details lawfully and for messaging only customers who are happy to hear from you.
- On plans with shop backup, you can download your data as Excel files at any time. If you leave, ask us within 30 days and we will help you take your data.
5. Fair use
Please do not:
- use the service for anything illegal, including false bills or hiding sales from tax;
- try to break into, overload, copy or take apart the service or its apps;
- resell or rent the service to others without our written permission;
- upload harmful software or content that is not yours to use.
We may suspend a shop that breaks these rules or puts other shops at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first.
6. Availability and offline billing
We work to keep the service running at all times, but it may sometimes stop for maintenance or problems outside our control, such as internet or power cuts. On plans with offline billing, the counter keeps billing and sends the bills when it is back online. We back up the database every day.
7. Your responsibilities
The service helps with GST bills and reports, but you are responsible for your tax rates, HSN codes, GST returns and accounts. Please check them with your accountant. Printers, scanners, computers, phones and internet connections are your responsibility, unless we have agreed to supply them.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost sales or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time by not renewing your plan, or by asking us to delete your shop. We may end the service for a shop that does not pay or breaks these terms. When a shop is deleted, its data is removed as described in our privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for important changes we will tell shop owners in the app before they apply. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so that we can try to settle any problem. If we cannot, the courts in Tamil Nadu will decide.
